IMMIGRANT WOMEN SOCIETY IN DEUTSCHLAND
Elham's Journey: From Struggle to Inspiration!
The founding story of the Immigrant Women's Society in Deutschland is deeply rooted in a real-life journey of courage and determination. Elham Sarvandy, our visionary founder, was inspired by her own experiences and challenges as an immigrant woman in Germany. Her journey illuminated the profound need for a supportive community dedicated to empowering immigrant women.
Our story begins with Elham's unwavering resolve to create a space where immigrant women can find support, resources, and a sense of belonging. Through her personal trials and triumphs, she realized the transformative power of solidarity and community. This realization became the cornerstone of the Immigrant Women's Society.
Elham's Arrival in Germany
Elham, a 48-year-old woman, arrived in Germany with her 13-year-old daughter, full of hope for a better future. Her past included two unsuccessful attempts to immigrate to Europe as a student. The situation in her home country was politically intolerable, making it impossible for her to lead a normal and happy life.

Initial Struggles
Upon arrival, Elham faced numerous barriers. Finding suitable housing and a job proved to be challenging. She struggled with the German language course and finding a place for living safe with her daughter which led to significant financial losses in the first three months.

A New Beginning in a Bigger City
Determined to improve her situation, Elham moved to a larger city. Here, she had better experiences. With the support of good friends and a compassionate immigrant teacher, she successfully completed her German course.

The Ants' Inspiration
One day, while reflecting on her journey, Elham realized that immigrant women could be like ants, capable of achieving great things through unity and mutual support. Inspired by the way ants work together, she decided to create a society for immigrant women across Germany.
